100% Beechwood Roast

1. Beechwood Flavor Profile
– Milder, rounder acidity due to slower heat transfer
– Full-bodied, often with slightly sweet, nutty, and chocolatey notes
– No smoke or "smoky flavors" because the beans are only indirectly heated
– Very even roasting due to consistently burning hardwood

2. Beechwood as Fuel
– High calorific value, even heat
– Little sparking, clean combustion
– Often used in traditional Venetian and old Italian craftsmanship

3. Benefits for the Beans
– Long roasting time (typically 18–25 minutes) = lower chlorogenic acid → more digestible
– Reduced bitterness
– Precise control of the roasting curve through constant, natural heat

'That's how coffee tastes'

Due to its temperate and tropical climate, Honduras produces coffees that are typically described as mild, robust and sweet.

The best Honduran coffee beans are grown at altitudes between 1000m and 1500m above sea level. The rich volcanic soils in Honduras are ideal for high-quality coffee.

VARIETY: 100% Arabica
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Honduras
TASTE: Chocolate, nutty, fragrant in the aromas of vanilla and hazelnut

One of the most popular sources of specialty coffee

In Honduras, coffee production holds an important place in the country's history. Although it is not the largest coffee exporter, they still produce some highly sought after beans that people all over the world enjoy. The light, fruity flavors have, in many cases, great sweetness.

Given his perfect coffee growing climate It's no surprise that Honduras produces incredibly good coffee. The only surprise is how long it took for this realization to surface in the specialty coffee scene.

Only a government tax on coffee exports introduced in the early 2000s slowly helped to provide much-needed funds for Honduras' coffee infrastructure (especially roads in remote coffee-growing areas).

Tax incentives have led to an enormous increase in quality among coffee producers. Honduran coffee beans are now on a par with the best in the world.
